try putting the 1 or 0 through a [change] object. You may be getting streams of values in, which could result in flicker as you tell the jit.window to go fullscreen over and over. (you said "blink" screen, not "blank" screen, right? If it's blank, I'm not sure what to do.)

if you still have problems, then possibly the data coming in isn't smooth and it keeps jumping from 0 to 1.
