I am relatively new to MAX/MSP and I try to realise an interactive additive synthesizer. therefor I generate a set of amplitude-parameters with processing and send them via OSC into MAX/MSP. This part works fine so far.

now I want to feed those amplitude-parameters into an oscillator bank. At the moment I am trying out “oscbank~”, but i also want to try “oscillators~” and “sinusoids~” from the CNMAT-depot.

To feed the parameters correctly into the oscillator bank i need to interweave or sort them into pairs with their corresponding frequency-parameters.

My problem (I fear it is a very “noobish” one) is:

how do i create ONE list of paramter-pairs out of TWO independent lists?

It will only output a list that is twice as long as the shorter of the two lists, so it works great if your two lists are the same length.
