everytime i tryed to send the msg i get the full screen on my laptop, even if i put the window in the second screen.

it’s actually a bug with max 5. should be fixed with the next incremental. you can search the forum to find more info.

however, as mentioned, the fix is to use jit.displays. the help file explains its use.

I have 5.0.3 running on os X 10.5.4 and the fullscreen always displays on the main monitor.

Is robtherich’s patch the solution? I can’t quite get it to work. What should go in the inlet and out the outlet? I also plan on having 2 or 3 different videos full-screened at the same time on different monitors…so would be great if the solution allowed for this.

screen / beamer to your computer with max 5 allready running, it wil
NEVER display on the second screen. Restart Max, with the second
screen plugged in, and all should work fine.

I will also go through [jit.displays]…I have a feeling things might get complicated when multiple displays are hooked up. hopefully not…
