how to edit my poly~ patcher

April 26, 2009 | 3:29 pm

Hi,

This I forgot…

How can I easily access my patcher so I can edit it when I am making the synth?

I got this explained some months ago, but I have forgot.

Cheers

(edit: I mean not open it from my documents, but having access to all patchers from the main window)

Double click your poly~ object in your main page, and then option-click the name in the title bar. Selecet your poly patch, and it should open again, this time as an editable instance.

Note that if you have any subpatchers in your poly, and you leave their windows open when you save the poly and it reloads in your main patch, you’ll get a copy of that subpatcher window opening for every instance of poly~ you have designated! (IE poly~ 32 will open 32 subpatcher windows) This can kill things if you have hundreds of instances of a poly~ so be careful!

or choose ‘Modify Read-Only’ from the File menu.
