how do you find the name of the patcher you're working in? i can find the path with thispatcher but I can't seem to find the name

not sure if there's a standard object that will do this, but you could do it with a simple js object with the following script:

then just send a bang into the inlet of the js object

function bang()
{
    outlet(0, this.patcher.name);
}

then just send a bang into the inlet of the js object
