I use [groove~] and the "ramp" (0. to 1.) from the right outlet for different processings.

When I defined a loop in [groove~], using start and end point, the "ramp" is always from 0. to 1. and this is my problem and I don't know to resolve it.

If I use a loop, I would like to get a ramp not between 0. and 1., but between the corresponding float.

Exemples with a sample of 2000 ms, play with [groove~]

If I use a loop from 1000 ms to 2000 ms, I would like to get a ramp from 0.5 to 1.

If I use a loop fromm 500 ms to 1500 ms, I would like to get a ramp from 0.25 to 0.75

I've not been on these forums for a long time, so thought I'd help out...

you can just add a '/~'(dividing by total duration) to the end of Sam's patch like this to get the 0 to 1. 'phase' style position:

But it's better to use play~ or wave~ or index~, that way you can just use a master clock source to drive the playback object and your other time-based processing from the same sample-accurate source(see phasor~ and rate~).
