Hi,

A simple question.
I just entered in jitter’s world, I need to have a bang at the end of a movie.
thanks!

jit.qt.movie @loopreport 1
wil notify you when the loop’s ended out of the right outlet. When no
specific looppoints are set, this will occur at the end of your movie

Have a look to the loopnotify attribute.

hey hi,
i use "loopnotify" to trig a "next" movie, but i got a problem when i do this.
example:

i play video 1
loopnotify trig video 2 at the end of video 1
but when video 2 start i got some frame from the begining of video 1 that show up ( its maybe 1 or 2 frame, its really fast but we can see it)

do you know how to solve this???

any others options to have a bang when at the end of a movie?

thanks!

make the object @loop 0 and you should be fine.

Hey thanks for the reply,
i did finally found a workaround.
it was for an installation and i did need to have sometimes the player to loop 1 and sometimes to loop 0..

for some reasons to use "message" with loop 1 or 0 is really buggy with the loopreport…

if you do message "loop 0" the actual video you read will bang at the end of the loop, then if it goes to an other video whatever you send the loop 0 message or not the bang won’t happen at the end of the loop…
the only workaround i found is with delay object, i had to send the message "loop 0" then with delay "loop 1" and then "loop 0" again for every videos.. this is the only way i found to get it to work..

i guess there is a problem when you dynamically change the loopmode..

thanks

have no problems/bugs here with loopreport
playing video after video after video

maybe post your patch?

the patch work with 6 videos, video 2 & 5 are looped and change only if you do sound, the other videos are supposed to go next when the video is done…

thanks

currently i dont have the time to have a closer look at your patch
but maybe you should work more with segemented patch cords and send and receive objects
also the trigger object is nice.

when i think i have to use the delay object then i often do something wrong
