Dear all

I organized personal Library of effect, So as well but if each folder , for example I have Toto.harmonizer.amxd , in a same folder I have patcher listiter.maxpat. , So I would like to know why I open My device In Max For live It’s not possible to recognize this patcher. How must I do, Because after I wouldlike to build my Device (make standalone) and give it to my friends , I hope it’ s possible to do it when You do’t configure Pathfinder of MaxForLive?

Hello Mortimer, be sure to include the path folder in the Option -> File Preferences to work correctly.

Hi, bringing up this thread again because I’m having this problem, and the abstraction I’m dealing has had the path folder set up properly.

When I open a Live set with a M4L device with my abstraction in it, the abstraction won’t output anything when it should, but when I open up the device (i.e. into Max) it starts to work again. I can quit the Max window and even the whole Max application, and the abstraction will then run as it should.

Any ideas? I thought this might have something to do with this abstraction having live.object’s and live.observer’s in it, but that doesn’t explain why all the M4L.api abstractions work fine…

Thanks

yes, i am having this issue as well. If a max 4 live patch utilises an abstraction (used to ensure the correct send and receive communication of data, where should the abstraction be saved?

Does somebody have an answer for this, or know where i may be able to get the answer?
