The following will solo the first track (0), just replace the track index and the message you want to send. (set mute 1/0 etc)

– Pasted Max Patch, click to expand. –

How to mute a track in a sub track of a folded track ?

Hi guys, how do I get the above text into a maxpatch?

Copy it then in max > " new patch from clipboard".

To ease: try looking at the LOM; it needs a little amount of time to be understand, but you can’t ignore it if you want to patch in M4L.

Thanks! That worked.

What’s the LOM? Anything that can help me get started…

The LOM is the Live Model Object and it describes how to access and control the Live API, for example you’ll find the path and the command you need to access the mute of a track. It’s in the Max documentation.
You really should read it and do the excellents Max tutorials if you really want to patch.
