hello,

i try to configure my behringer bcd3000 for a dj controller hack but i have some problems to get a LED feedback for the buttons from live. i figured out that i have to write a small tool that send out the correct cc message for the LED (LED status can be controlled/swiched by cc number and value) when it receive a note number from a button (buttons on the bcd3000 send only note on/off messages).

i tried a couple of things but i won´t work like i want. is there someone who can give me a short introduction or some advices?

thx

seb

Can’t test anything for now but did you use the ‘external instrument’ device in live to communicate with the behringer ?

hi,

sorry for the delayed reply. but i found a workaround by myself to get it working. i felt like christmas, eastern and my birthday in the same time when i found the solution. thats always a nice feeling for a m4l newbie like me. :)

if you are interested in my patch just drop me a message. ;) but i will upload it anyway on maxforlive.com later. i could imagine that this patch would be useful for every bcd3000 owner who wants to use it with ableton live. specially if you are on osx and it just a pain in the ass to change the global mode from standard to advanced or vice versa.

anyway, this patch was just one in a whole bunch of small patches for my diy controller project and like murphys law i have got the next problem. :) you can find the current thread here:
