Hey everybody,

I’m searching for a way to get the indexes of elements (values as numbers) if
they are contained in both lists. So there’s list B which in my case
contains all of the data and there’s list A that contains part of that data.
I want the indexes of the elements in list A if they are contained in list B. zl sect gives me the values which are contained in both but not the indexes. (I didn’t get it work with zl filter.) Is there a way?

Greetings
Alex

Thanks for the fast reply.

I already tried zl sub either but strangely it doesn’t work properly even when I set up everything exactly like in the help file.
I had a look if there’s something wrong with the list formatting when it is send to zl sub but when I print it in the MAX window everything looks fine, like a normal list. Could it be a problem that the values are floating point values?

Anyway, is there a way to solve the problem with coll?
