I am trying desperately to figure out how to create a XOR checksum for a list of numbers. I need to send it to Arduino.

For example 255, 0, 0, 255, 0, 0, 255, 0, 0, 255, 0, 0 I think should have 0 as a result, right? Don't ask me how I know that. I am still trying to figure out how this bitwise expression works with other numbers beside 0s and 1s.
