[if]: several conditions in one expression (OR)

to begin: a fairly big sorry, this question must have been asked a thousand times, but the search function gave me hundreds of results..!

I’m looking for an object that “outbangs” only on numbers outside the range of 0 and 30 – but can’t come up with an expression within the [if] object that actually does this.. (which is insane)

http://jonaswolf.com/if_help_arrives.tiff I’d prefer [if]

what am I missing on (where lies my insanity)?

cheers!

Did you look at the “multiple conditions” subpatch in the [if ] helpfile? Here’s how to do it with [if ], but I recommend using [split 0 30 ].

[split] yepp :) that it’ll be.

I’ve actually turned the [if] helpfile upside down, desperately variegating |, ||, & and &&.. hm

this is what I would call “Vorfuehreffekt” in germany (some take murphy’s law as a reference)

:)

thanks, tim!
