Image based dial

Hi,

I’d like to create a dial which uses a single rotating image. It’ll be a large image, around 800×800 pixels. It doesn’t need to animate like the knob example in pictctrl, simply rotate. It would be crazy to do multiple frames… and I’d like at least a 360 degree level of resolution.

Anyone got any tips? I’ve been searching the forums and maxobjects.com but haven’t found anything that does this.

Thanks

Steve

Do it in Jitter: rotate a videoplane with the dial image on it. in a
pwindow you can get the mouse position & use that or jit.gl.rotate to
move it….
