can anyone point me towards any possible methods for tiling image files using Max / MSP?

I am looking to join together multiple 600 x 600 img files together into a larger oblong or square.

The best thing i can think of right now is joining things together using jit.glue but i was curious if anyone had any simpler possible solutions for doing something like this which is actually very simple.
