importing an audiotrack from a .mov into a buffer~, okay with Max5 – in Max6 not

In Max 5 one could get the audiotrack from a quicktime.mov into a buffer via the ‘import’ message.

In Max 6 this is not possible.
The .mov files in the ‘open’ dialogue are greyed out.

Is this the expected behavior or do I miss something?

Yeah – this is a current limitation of the buffer~ object in Max 6.1.x

I’ve noted this report in the engineering ticket
