I'm currently designing an object for spatial audio, but have reached a point where I am required to include an FIR filter which can affect the audio. If I could find a way to include the pre-existing object 'buffir~' object within my code, my problems would be immediately solved, however I haven't come across any information of a way to include such things - and have doubts as to whether such a process would even be possible.

If anyone could offer any help or assistance on whether this would be possible - just for closure - or any help on implementing a custom designed one using code - I'm familiar with the mathematics, I'm just unsure how to go about applying it within this context.
