Inconsistency in sound subtractive-synth kick drum. Problem in my logic?

All the rand~ objects may be unnecessary…

I was having similar inconsistencies by running a pink~ object with a similar envelope through a lowpass filter.

Yeah, lose the [rand~] objects. They are conflicting with the noise. Secondly, the domain for the function is only 5ms–too short for a drum type of sound. Try lengthening the domain and increasing the rate of the attack and see where you end up.

I’ve still been having issues with all the different sounds that I’ve been experimenting with.. Subtly Inconsistent. Here’s my latest attempt. Any help is appreciated!
