Info on using resonance

February 27, 2007 | 10:45 pm

Hi all,

For my graduation project i will be studying de phenomenon of resonance. My plans are to develope two performances.
The first is for live electronics and resonating materials (aluminium, chains etc.)
The second is for piano and a software stringresonator i made in maxmsp.
What i;m looking for now are books, articles ans other information/documentation about resonance in the broadest way. And of couree most usefull if its oriented to using it in music.
Do you have any suggestions where i can get information on this subject?

thanks!

whilst not necessarily oriented towards the production of music, i think there would be a hole in your research if you were not to investigate the wonderful world of nikola tesla. the web is teeming with content on him.
