installing OSC and shaders

Hi there

I am so confused to where put the files, I am installing OSC and shaders again into Max and I have no idea where to put the files.
I am running mac 10.04

Can somebody help me in a very very clear/basic way by starting from the first layer on

like

application/ Max/

or

Utilities/ library

where do the

OSC-unroute.js

OSC-route.help.pat

OSC-bcf2000.js

where do the shaders go?
