Interpolation slab

October 27, 2009 | 9:16 am

Hello Im trying to get an uninterpolated slab chain.
If I go from jit.qt.movie to jit.gl.texture with filter argument on nearest this works, If I put in a jit.gl.slab it does not.
How do I get the slab object to not interpolate the image?
I attached an example.
Many thanx
Lev

You need to send the "filter nearest" setting to the internal output texture of jit.gl.slab. To do this, you can use "sendoutput filter nearest". Another way to accomplish this is to alter the GLSL in the shaders to use "floor(texcoord0)". This will give you truncated texture coordinates for the texture lookup.

Best,

Hello Andrew, thanx a lot! Have been looking for this solution in the help and reference, but could not find it. Are these kind of commands listed somewhere?

Any message you would normally send to a jit.gl.texture object can be sent to the internal output texture using "sendoutput"
