IP sniffing for Ipad

November 6, 2012 | 7:01 pm

I read about sniffing IP’s for computer on various posts, but not really for an Ipad. Is there any way to detect an ipad IP address (using lemur) in a similiar fashion that serialOSC does for a monome? Would make life so much easier

you can get your iPad IP address if you know it’s name using mxj net.ip :

– Pasted Max Patch, click to expand. –

If you’r using the Lemur app, it can be even easier :
use the LemurLoader external to find all Lemurs connected to your network.
(LemurLoader is part of the free "Mu" package available at http://liine.net/en/products/lemur/premium/mu/ )

Mathieu,

Thanks so much for the tip….I didn’t know about the LemurLoader, that will simplify things a great deal!

I perhaps doing wrong things in Lemur that I didn’t get any result. Any specific guide will be a big help.

Thanks,
