We need to port "exists" object on OSX and Windows ("exists" allows to test the existence of a directory or file and return various info like file type, finder flags & creator info)

Is the source code available somewhere? Or is there any equivalent object availoable on OSX (Universal Binary) and Windows?

I never done that but I'm pretty sure that it can be done easily in

I never done that but I'm pretty sure that it can be done easily in  
javascript with the File object.
