I'm using this construct for temp storage because it works and I don't know any better.

When it receives a message it dumps the last message, clears and inserts the new message. I've been browsing the Max docs and don't see something better...but there must be?

I suppose in both cases if the only thing I have to trigger off is the new message to be stored, I could use trigger to send a bang to the left inlet to send the currently stored message and then to the right to be stored.

Is there a better way to temporarily store a message?
