Is there a way to use some mtof like object to convert midinote name, like G2 to frequency?

I have a hard time trying to compose with remebering midi numbers for pitch, like 60 62 63 65 etc, for using zl objects and similar for composing.

It would be cool to use lists consisting of A3 B3 C#3 etc.

, and the octave by just dividing by 12. Using 

 you can translate the note number into symbolic note name.

You can extract the note "name" with % 12, and the octave by just dividing by 12. Using zl lookup or coll you can translate the note number into symbolic note name.


Also you can display number boxes as MIDI notes (sharps only), but probably you knew that.
