Hi, I just bought Max/MSP/Jitter (though have used it before elsewhere). After 1 day of playing I already have a wish/suggestion for the next version and was wondering if there's a special thread or forum for posting our ideas and suggestions for future versions?

This may have been suggested before, but it sure would be nice if the File Open dialog used from the main File > Open menu, and the File Open dialog used in places like the "Read" object in Jitter patches would maintain separate memories of the last folder used.

I'm sure I'm not alone in placing my patches in a different location from my video/audio. As it is now (at least on Win XP) if I open a patch and then click the Read object within the patch to load a video file I have to navigate from my patch location to my video location. Then if I open another patch I have to navigate back to the patch folder, and then again back to the video folder once I click the Read object in the new patch.

Having written Windows programs I know it's not a big deal to save the folder path when the user selects a file using File Open, and to keep track of several paths based on where in the program the File Open was launched from (ie: from the main menu vs from an object within a patch).

If there's a better place to post this suggestion/wish, please let me know.
