im making this thing that i will you about 20 computers at the same time, each one is suposed to grab and image nd send it over the net…
how do i save with out this window of save under file name appears? does jitter have some kind of buffer (like msp) that can store the data for w while?

if you simply need still images, you can export an image from the jit.matrix object and the jit.qt.grab object anytime, without getting the dialog – set 0 for an option called "force settings dialog" when sending the exportimage message to the object. (e.g: "exportimage myimage.jpeg 0" – see the relevant help files)
also, a jit.matrix ‘s "thru" attribute can be set to 0, in which case the matrix contents will be output only when banged- essentialy serving as a single-frame buffer. For larger buffers, use jit.matrixset.
hope this helps

look at the help file.
the correct message to grab an image name myframe with an extension of jpeg
is
[exportimage myframe jpeg]
no need for full filename or anything else
