Isolating the user with jit.openni

Hi everybody. I am using the jit.openni external. What I am trying to do is to see myself in 3d in a 3d world..It’s working except it’s hard to avoid the background . Sometimes I am isolated (that’s what I want !!!), we just see me in the 3d world but sometimes we see the wall etc. and it’s a behavior I don’t want, so, is there a trick to only have the user and not the background…

depends where you are standing. a simple approach would be to select a certain range of grey and disregard the rest.
you will find some simple way of doing this in the attached patch (just have a look at the middle part where the big slider is).
