jit.catch~ => jit.release~ problem

background noise when using jit.catch~ with jit.release~ in Max6.0.3, in Max5 this problem was not. my system: Windows XP, soundcard: e-mu 0404 USB.
what could be the problem?

I am having the same problems on Max 6.0.4
Lot of noise…….

I can reproduce the noise by using the help patch in Max also.

I have not succeeded in any of my attempts. Next step is to send in a bug report.

Grizzle, did you email support or was this a forum post?

This is a known bug and something we will be taking a look at. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Hi Ben, I asked on the forum and not support. I didn’t send a bug report as there is no mention of a noise issue in the documentation but the noise is present in the help file and across machines so I thought it was expected and not a bug. It is good to know it will get better – looking forward to playing with Jitter and Audio together.
