jit.cellblock and shortcut

Dear all,
I know that the jit.cellblock object has some embedded shortcut when it is selected, like page-up / page-down and more.

I would ask if there is a way to disable these shortcuts but keeping the selection mode to: “row select” , in order to select a row clicking on it with the mouse.

Also, when the jit.cellblock is selected the “key” object doesn’t work anymore.

A simple patch in Max 4 to show the issue:

#P window setfont “Sans Serif” 9.;
#P window linecount 1;
#P comment 27 255 272 196617 3 – select the numberbox and the “key” object began work;
#P comment 27 239 333 196617 2 – select the jit.cellblock and see that the “key” doesn’t work anymore;
#P button 31 93 15 0;
#P newex 31 66 38 196617 sel 32;
#P newex 31 44 40 196617 key;
#P number 306 254 35 9 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 221 221 221 222 222 222 0 0 0;
#P user jit.cellblock 99 43 357 207 3 9 5 10 45 17 0 1 1 0 1 1 1 1 3 0 0 0 255 255 255 0 0 0 0 0 0 191 191 191 0 0 0 215 215 240 0 0 0 0 4 0 0 0;
#P comment 27 222 297 196617 1 – press the spacebar and see that the “key” object works fine;
#P connect 3 0 4 0;
#P connect 4 0 5 0;
#P window clipboard copycount 8;

Best,
Bruno

Hey Bruno,

This is working fine in Max 5. Although, as you’re on 4.* I would
suggest that you play a little with scripting to remove the keyboard
focus when you click on the jit.cellblock. Like this:

Thanks Emmanuel, that script seems to work perfectly
