jit.cellblock text wrapping

jit.cellblock text wrapping

opening an old max4 patch in max5, where a cellblock is used to display text in different cells, i noticed that the max5 cellblock obviously doesn’t do text wrapping anymore, but rather truncates the text. not very useful at all. (see below)
why is this? hopefully i’m just missing some attribute config.

this is in max 5.1.2 on osx 10.5.8

by the way: what is the right most outlet used for? it’s labeled “dumpout” and that indeed would be quite useful, instead the dump message directs all output to the left outlet. the docs only mention three outlets. my cellblock has four.
while on the subject: the reference entry for the dump message suggests that “dump” takes two arguments (col and row number – does that make sense?) which doesn’t seem to be supported by the object: jit.cellblock: extra arguments for message “dump”.
