jit.gl.imageunit parameters

November 29, 2007 | 12:30 am

hi,
everytime I send a "rect" message to jit.gl.window to relocate it or
resize it, jit.gl.imageunit forgets its parameters. is there a flag to
fix that? or is this a know bug? (or a feature?)
max 4.6.3, jitter 1.6.3 os x 10.5.1 on a intel mac.
also, I can’t get the params automatically loaded on startup
jit.gl.imageunit foo @fx bloom @param radius 5. @param intensity 5.
loads the effect, but with default parameters. even if I try to set the
parameters with a separate message and loadbang this does not work. it
seems to take some time until the effect is loaded and after that it
will accept the param message.

Ive also run into the initialization bug, and I had to put a delay 50
or some such between the effect selection and the parameter
initialization, which solved it (for me).
