jit.gl.model and jit.gl.shader -

I have a problem that probably has an obvious answer, but the forums
won’t give it up. I’m using jit.gl.model with co.lumakey.jxs (in
jit.gl.shader) to do a lumakey with a texture. It’s not working with
jit.gl.model. It works fine with jit.gl.gridshape in the
jit.gl.shader help file, but when I try to use jit.gl.model in that
help file, it still doesn’t work. Example patch included. Thanks for
any help. I await the inevitably obvious answer.

It works fine here.
What version of Jitter?
What platform/OS/video-card?

In what way is it not working?

well, mr. model disappears completely. If I use another shader, like
gn.bricks.jxs, it comes back. I believe this occurs with all of the
composite shaders and only with jit.gl.model.

Oh, by the way:
1.67GHz Powerbook G4 OS 10.4.10

I assume no because the image I’m using works with jit.gl.gridshape.
Every image I try fails in jit.gl.model.

I tried tex_map 2… no use…

When I toy with values of co.lumakey.jxs, I can get a solid color, but
it seems to have little to do with the corresponding texture.

It sounds like you haven’t set up per-vertex texture coordinates for
your models. The solid-color thing is a pretty good indication of this,
as it means you are only reading one pixel of the texture.

If you dont have any ‘working’ models, try with some of the models
that I have included with the v001 shaders. They have proper UVs for
the complicated lady, and straightforward texture mapping for the
sphere and the box, and are free to use.

Im with andrew, your models dont map coordinates correctly.
