jit.gl.nurbs error

February 10, 2006 | 6:32 pm

Hello all,

I’m having trouble with this object, when i try to open a patch i made, a series of error msgs are reported:
it attempts to load the help file, it says that i may have written a patcher with the same name as the file that contains it (i didnt), and ultimately, max no longer recognises the nurbs object (out of all the others in jitter), and if i try to build another, it still doesnt recognise it

any ideas?

Thanks

g

Hello g,
There is a good chance that you have another file on your machine named
jit.gl.nurbs that is causing conflicts. Try doing a search of your
hard-drive.

Otherwise, you will need to provide us with more specific information
for anyone to be able to assist you.

It is most likely the case that the error message is correct, and
that you have a file named jit.gl.nurbs(.txt,.mxt,.mxb,.pat)
somewhere in your search path (which contains the jit.gl.nurbs
object). Do a "find file" on "jit.gl.nurbs" and see what you find.

Yep, I had ‘saved as’ the help file into another folder some time ago and long since forgotten about it. once i changed its name, the error stopped appearing. I guess that was it..

Thanks for the help.
