1. jit.phys.point2point seems to have some elasticity in the binding of a body to a point. This is seen in the point2point help patch when dragging and throwing the body around. The anchor of the body swings away from the anchor point, then comes back. Is there a parameter for the elasticity of it? That 'd be cool cause I'm looking for a spring like effect. What's a pitty is that there's no elasticity when body and point anchors are in the same position. That's actually where I'd like to have the spring effect. I know there's the spring option in jit.anim.drive but I don't see how this could be applied to the body, while retaining phys abilities.

2. In the same point2point help patch, when setting damping, gravity and friction to 0 you'd expect that the body keeps turning endlessly when given a swing, but it doesn't. It will come to a halt eventually so there still seems to be a damping factor somewhere. Where is it?

in the next update, all physics constraints will have "strength" and "stretch" attributes, that will allow you to remove all elasticity, by setting strength to 1.

there will also be updates to the jit.phys.6dof constraint, allowing you to add spring type behavior to the constraint.

i'm assuming the deceleration of angular velocity is the result of the body not being constrained to it's center of mass. if you set position1 to 0 0 0, it will keep spinning.
