jit.qt.grab 4×3 camera to 16×9 output

howdy folks

I am trying to capture a 16×9 video stream from a 4×3 input (video cam through 1394imaging box)

that is I’d like to cut the extra bit off the 4×3 image and end up with a 16×9 to send along into my patch.

but I am a bit confused about where to do this –

pack dim 640×360 vs the standard 640×480?

or

srcrect

or

dstrect

I’d rather just capture the 640×360 in order to avoid processing the extra bit down the line – right? but how?

thanks for any help on this

yes, use srcrect with the object dim set to srcrect dimension.
