I think this issue is quite problematic. I appreciate that it's something introduced by Apple moving to a new framework and Cycling haven't been able to address it yet. But being widely identified, shouldn't it be noted somewhere in the latest [jit.grab] help file? It's frustrating as a user to have to search through forum threads to find workarounds.

@balam - I find that the [getinputlist] message gives me a list of available USB cameras. As for camera settings, I'm using an app called Webcam Settings that you can find on the App Store. It's a paid option, but if you need control over manual settings, it might be a good alternative.
