Is there any examples on the forum of how to divide the input image of an inbuilt webcam into regions so that if a person holds out there left arm one bang is triggered, if they hold out their right arm a different bang can be triggered?

If it's not too late, feel free to take ideas from my Video Trigger app. Could be made more efficient but it works fine. The MAX5 patches are included in the download.

Also feel free to download some simple tutorial patches from a beginners workshop i teached. It explains - based on jitter tutorial 21 - how to do basic color tracking and then to trigger 4 different sounds from color detection in 4 regions (x-axis), and also to control the amplitude of the sounds (y-axis)...
