I am currently working on a roominstallation that I plan to add a simple trigger to with a videofeed - now I got the videofeed running through bnc into an Canopus ADVC-300 videoconverter which is connected to my Macbook via Firewire.

As far as it appears the device shows up in imovie and provides the camera video when I press the play button.

However, allthough jit.qt.grab i manage to get the ADVC-300 to show up on the inputlist, I cant get any signal from it.

Any ideas or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
