Hello,

When reading a movie file in jit.qt.movie, RAM increases significantly during playback, and never goes down when playing another file, overloading our machines after a while.

This happens with :

- .mov / Photo-JPEG 640×480 / 8.93 mbits/sec
- there’s an audio track (44.1 / stereo) but it is not played back (trackenabled 1 0)
- Max 5.1.3
- Windows XP SP2
- Quicktime Pro 7.5.5

Our files are all 10 minutes long.

What am i doing wrong ? Is this the quicktime version that is not good ? Is there some message to send to jit.qt.movie to avoid this ? or at least to flush the ram ?

Many thanks in advance

f.e

Please provide an example patch and link to a sample movie, and we can investigate.
