I can’t seem to find what I am looking for in the manuals, help files etc. I have a series of jit.qt.movie objects that I wish to play one after the other, each one starting precisely as the previous one ends. Is it possible to send out some sort of ‘end’ message in the same way that the ‘line’ object can? Or is there another way to do this? I do need to use multiple jit.qt.movie objects in order to utilise the loadram feature.
how about testing to see if the current time is at the end of the
first movie, and sending a play message to the next movie as a
result? leave looping off.
shortly after having started the movie, send a message:
[loop 1, loop 0, loopreport 1]
to the jit.qt.movie object. this will output the message "loopnotify" at the end of the
movie at the right outlet, which you can select out to a bang to start the next movie.

The loopreport works a treat.
Turn on loopreport and watch right outlet for "loopnotify" It’s right in
the middle of the jit.qt.movie help file.
