<p>I&#8217;m relatively new to Max and I can&#8217;t find a way to force jit.qt.movie to output a bang as soon as I load (trough the read message) a new movie into it. I want to use it to trigger a getmoviedim message to then set the propper scaling. Hop you can help me!</p>

						<p>When jit.qt.movie receives a read message, it sends a read message out its right outlet when it&#8217;s done opening the file (also indicating the name of the file just opened, and whether it was successful). Use the route object to look for that and trigger other things with it.</p>
