jit.qt.movie resolution H.264 codec

Hi

i have recorded several movie files with a camcorder, with the H.264 codec. Info in quicktime gives: codec H.264, resolution 720x576 (actual) 50FPS.

When i play these files in my finder (pressing spacebar or opening with quicktime) the resolution looks better than when i open them in Max. [jit.qt.movie] set to adapt to resolution, and i checked the highquality and deinterlace options in the [jit.qt.movie]...what can i do to enhance the quality of the videos?

I can only record using the H.264 codec with my camera, so it is not possible to use another codec. It seems to me playback in the Quicktime application should be the same as using the [jit.qt.movie] object? Maybe i have to check some advanced options, but i am not sure which ones.
