jit.qt.videoout

Hi,
With jit.qt.videoout it seems to be possible to get two different video Signals out of Max5 simultanously.

I could e.g. define the firewire port as second video out. How can i transform the videosignal from fire wire to a VGA – Signal for a second Beamer?

Or should I choose another option to have two different Videos on two beamers out of 1 computer at the same time?

Kind regards

jit.qt.videoout would probably not be the best solution for this. see jkc’s reply regarding this technique here.

main consideration is whether you are on desktop or laptop. if desktop either get a card with two outputs, or get two cards. if laptop perhaps matrox dual head to go is the solution.

Thanks.
We also found out a solution going from the Firewire out of mac laptop to dv – cam in and mirror the signal from the cam via svhs out to the beamer. you need a dv cam for this of course.

may there is some cheep gadget that converts firewire video to analog video signal for beamers. (besides matrox of course which is rather expensive)

Anyway thanks and cheers
