jit.scissors problem

Hello,

I am having an intermittent issue with jit.scissors. I am splitting a video into six columns. Sometimes this works fine. other times only the two middle columns get split. The other four are blank. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this or if anyone had any ideas what is happening. The patcher is included below along with a sub-patch. If you attach the outlets from the scissors object to the pwindow you can test the scissors object. On mine usually only the middle two produce anything. thanks for any help.

Sorry, works fine on my machine with about a dozen test videos.

What machine? What type of video are you using? Maybe it’s a codec issue or a corrupt video file?

Thank you for testing it. It is now working again, although it worked then didn’t then did again. It looks like it is only doing it with that video (720×1280 H264 mov on an 8 gig Q6600 Hackintosh). My guess is it is the video file. Appreciate your taking the time.

I’m sure h.264 could cause any number of problems if you’re doing a lot of additional processing on top of it
