I’m working on mbpro 2.16 CD, Leopard 10.5, latest max and jitter.
[jit.uldl] doesn’t seem to work .. max says it’s a bogus.

I checked the archives quickly but couldn’t find anything.
I checked another machine here with max&leopard, same thing.

Can anyone confirm ?

use java for downloads. Cycling provides some nice examples in the
java folder, especially the threaded image downloader.

You could take a look at the Java jitwebimage-example.pat. It doesn’t
put the file on disk, but it shouldn’t be too hard to modify to do
this sort of thing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There’s also the potential for using the command line wget or curl
programs with the shell object, or with Java shell execution. curl is
included with OS X, but wget needs to be downloaded and installed.
Search online for more info.
