jit.uldl error -30776

October 8, 2006 | 5:31 am

Hi i am having a little trouble , probably minor, uploading a file (.jpg) to an ftp site via jit.uldl.

i am receiving an error -30776 (which i dont know what it refers to.)

i am simply using the "interface" subpatch of the jit.uldl helpfile.
it seems that messages are properly formulated, the (same) file transfer works fine when done manually via fetch, so it is not an issue with ftp adress/username/password.

max 4.5.5
jitter 1.5.1
osx 10.4.4
thanks in advance, sorry if it has been delt with in a previous thread, i admitt having spent 30sec looking for similar topic …

kURLAuthenticationError = -30776,

Probably you have the wrong username or password.

Here’s a little shell script that you can run to learn what these
errors mean:

#!/bin/sh

# NOTE: Enter the following lines as one line
# without ANY additional spaces:
/usr/bin/grep "$1" /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/
Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/Headers/MacErrors.h

I saved this as errcode.sh in my home directory, chmod 755
errcode.sh, then I run it from the terminal ./errcode.sh 30776

I assume that it works without the developer tools installed, but I’m
not sure.

kURLExtensionFailureError = -30785,

Sorry, don’t know what this means. According to Apple’s
documentation, this error should only occur on OS9. In any case,
uploading from jit.uldl is working on my OSX machine, so I would need
more complete info to help solve these issues.

Hey Jeremy,

I tried it now on another server which works, so probably the problem is with my webhost or so. May be they set some kind of security or so,.. may be someone has also http://www.vevida.com/ as webhost and could try if jit.uldl works..

thanks in advance
