						<p>dear list</p>
<p>i want to download a max-patch from somewhere and<br />
then instantly open it into max.</p>
<p>when i download with a browser all is fine.<br />
when i do it with jit.uldl the file has its filetype<br />
set to ???? and max refuses to open it.</p>

						<p>This is a known bug which is too annoying to fix to justify the effort, <br />
since I want to rewrite the object, anyway.</p>
<p>jit.uldl will be brought into the new millenium before too long, at <br />
which point this will (hopefully) be fixable. Until then, thanks for <br />
