jit.wake and planecount

August 25, 2006 | 12:17 pm

Bonjour,

Planecount is listed as one of the attributes for jit.wake, but I can’t seem to make it work. When I try and change to 1 plane (or anything else than 4 for that matter) in this example patch:

#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P number 220 82 35 9 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 221 221 221 222 222 222 0 0 0;
#P window linecount 1;
#P message 220 105 72 196617 planecount $1;
#P newex 65 172 84 196617 jit.wake @ff 0.3;
#P toggle 65 53 15 0;
#P newex 65 79 57 196617 qmetro 50;
#P newex 65 135 109 196617 jit.noise 4 char 12 12;
#P user jit.pwindow 64 197 309 229 0 1 0 0 1 0;
#P comment 265 84 129 196617 < - why doesn't this work?;
#P fasten 6 0 2 0 225 127 70 127;
#P fasten 6 0 5 0 225 161 70 161;
#P connect 2 0 5 0;
#P connect 3 0 2 0;
#P connect 4 0 3 0;
#P connect 5 0 1 0;
#P connect 7 0 6 0;
#P window clipboard copycount 8;

I get this error:
• error: jit.wake: mismatch plane

Doesn’t jit.wake support anything else than 4 planes?

This is on a MacBook with latest everything.

Thanks,
Alexander

if you check the helpfile it says: "supports: 4 plane char."

this is corroborated by the HTML reference
/patches/JitterReference/jit.wake.html
