jit.window unwanted resize

April 16, 2009 | 12:08 pm

im playing an mpeg2 file in jit.qt.movie that renders directly to a named window. when i open a new movie, the window automatically resizes to the resolution of the movie. i can seem to find a way to disable this and have to send a rect command to the window after the movie has started to get it back to the desired size/position.

am i missing something obvious?

heres a test patch that shows the problem on my machine.
actually i just noticed the window does not resize, but the movie does not fill the entire window. i have to resize the window a few times to different values and then it does.

i just did some more tests with different codecs and it only seems to have this problem with the mpeg2 files im using. i would be interested to know if anyone does not have this problem with mpeg2 – ie, that the patch works ok for them with mpeg2.
